No Mercy 2004

1. Eddie Guerrero defeated Luther Reigns by pinfall

This was probably one of the worst Eddie Guerrero pay-per-view matches that I can think of. Reigns was just horrible.

Rating: .75 (out of 5)

2. Spike Dudley defeated Nunzio by pinfall

I was really hoping that this was going to be good. This was just a typical WWE match with cruiserweights in it.

Rating: 2

3. Billy Kidman defeated Paul London by pinfall

This was on pace to be the match of the night, but it just seemed to end. It needed another 5 minutes.

Rating: 3.25

4. Kenzo Suzuki and Rene Dupree defeated Rey Mysterio and Rob Van Dam by pinfall

***Match Of The Night***

This was surprisingly a pretty fun match. It's too bad we never really saw a Mysterio/Van Dam feud.

Rating: 3.5

5. The Big Show defeated Kurt Angle by pinfall

Angle did everything he could to make this entertaining. The final few minutes were a lot of fun.

Rating: 2

6. John Cena defeated Booker T by pinfall to win the US Championship

Cena was nowhere near what he is today and Booker seemed to lack motivation. Plus, they really had no chemistry.

Rating: 1

7. Charlie Haas, Rico, and Jackie defeated The Dudley Boyz and Dawn Marie by pinfall

This was just filler. Charlie Haas was pretty good at this point, that's about it.

Rating: .75

8. JBL defeated Undertaker in a Last Ride Match

This was by no means bad, but there were some stretches that were just downright boring. There are only a select few individuals who can have a good match with JBL.

Rating: 1.5

Smackdown had a lot of talent on it, but it also had some of the worst wrestlers of the era. For whatever reason they seemed to try and spread out the talent, rather than having them go against one another. That's probably why this was a horrible time period for the blue brand. Not a good show.
