In Your House: Revenge Of The 'Taker

1. Legion Of Doom defeated Owen Hart + British Bulldog by disqualification

This was really held back by being overbooked. First, you have a reversed decision and the match re-started and then an interference. How are you supposed to have a good match in between all of that?

Rating: 1 (out of 5)

2. Savio Vega defeated Rocky Maivia by countout

This was slow and uninspired and overshadowed by the Nation of Domination/Ahmed Johnson angle. Who booked this show?

Rating: .75

3. Jesse James defeated Rockabilly by pinfall

First of all, who thought this was a good idea? Second of all, why do you have the guy who was hyped up for weeks lose to a guy that was not over and looked at as a jobber? What a joke and a horrible pay-per-view match. If this were a 10 match card, maybe. But this was a 5 match show.

Rating: .25

4. Undertaker defeated Mankind by pinfall

***Match Of The Night***

This was a really good match. Most people don't seem to enjoy it as much as me, but this was a hard hitting and well paced matchup. The feud with Mankind is one of my favorite of the era and both guys could go at this point. Great work by both men.

Rating: 4

5. Steve Austin defeated Bret Hart by disqualification

This was a great feud, probably my favorite of all time, but their worst pay-per-view battle. That's not to say it wasn't great, which it was, it just wasn't AS good. Great main event that featured two of the best of the era. Good stuff.

Rating: 3.75

The first hour of this show is absolutely horrible. I'm talking December To Dismember bad. Why anyone would want to pay for some of that is beyond me and I know buyrates were really suffering at this point. However, the last two matches were great stuff and saved the show. The last two are definitely worth checking out, but skip the first hour.
