Judgment Day 2003

1. John Cena + FBI defeated Chris Benoit, Spanky + Rhyno by pinfall

This was a fun opener, but way, way too short. I'm not sure it even hit the 5 minute mark. Too bad, they could have used a good match on this card.

Rating: 2.25 (out of 5)

2. La Resistance defeated Scott Steiner + Test by pinfall

This was basically just to get La Resistance over and to start the awful Test/Steiner feud.

Rating: .25

3. Eddie Guerrero + Tajiri defeated The World's Greatest Tag Team in a Ladder Match to win the WWE Tag Team Championships

This was a darn good match and not as spotty as a lot of the ladder matches now. This is not quite a great match, but one well worth watching.

Rating: 3.75

4. Christian won the Intercontinental Championship in a battle royal

This was one of the few attempts that the WWE made at getting Christian over on his own. Too bad the match sucked.

Rating: .75

5. Mr. America defeated Roddy Piper by pinfall

Mr. America was Hulk Hogan and Roddy Piper looked like an egg. Next.

Rating: .25

6. Kevin Nash defeated Triple H by disqualification

The feud...must...continue.

Rating: .5

7. Jazz defeated Trish Stratus, Jaqueline + Victoria by pinfall

This was good for the time given, but too short to mean anything.

Rating: .75

8. Brock Lesnar defeated Big Show in a Stretcher Match

This was actually a pretty fun match. These two just had chemistry and they showed it here. Lesnar was starting to grow as a performer and proved it on this night.

Rating: 3.5

Well, you have two good matches and the rest is crap. Seriously, what were they thinking here? Not a good way to end the co-branded show era. Not at all.

Overall Rating: 59%
