1. Eddie Guerrero defeated Chris Benoit by pinfall to win the United States Championship

These two were incapable of having a bad match with one another. Very smooth and exciting opener that set a good pace for the show.

2. Jamie Noble defeated Billy Gunn by pinfall

Believe it or not, there was a short time period where Jamie Noble was not a jobber. Billy Gunn was pretty much done at this point, but Noble looked good here.

3. Bradshaw won the Bar Room Brawl

This was just goofy fun and really served no purpose other than to be an interesting 5 minutes.

4. The World's Greatest Tag Team defeated Rey Mysterio + Billy Kidman by pinfall

What a great tag team match. Tag team wrestling was pretty much dead at this point, but this was some great work by these four men. I still wish they would allow these types of matches to happen.

5. Sable defeated Stephanie McMahon by pinfall

This was a heavily scripted match, but it was also a lot better than it should have been. I think had it ended a few minutes earlier, it might have scored a 2 or higher.

6. Undertaker defeated John Cena by pinfall

This was actually a better match than I remembered. Undertaker played his role well and Cena showed why the WWE was so high on him. It would be nice to see Cena as a heel again.

7. Vince McMahon defeated Zach Gowen by pinfall

This was very similar to the other McMahon match. Better than expected, but a little too long. I wasn't a big fan of this whole saga, but there have been worse matches.

8. Kurt Angle defeated Big Show and Brock Lesnar by pinfall to win the WWE Championship

This was a great three way match and just showed how great Kurt Angle was at this time. The three of these guys had a surprising chemistry and any combination of these guys usually worked well.

Rating: 3.75

Any pay-per-view with two matches that receive a 4 is usually an easy thumbs up. Add in the fact that the main event was also quite good and this is an easy recommendation. There is some filler, but the show is never boring. Good show.
